Triads are a simple chord type that provide the key to decoding and unlocking the fretboard of the guitar. By using 3 big triad shapes, I show you how to navigate the entire neck in any key. Once you have these shell chord shapes down you will be able to come up with at least 20 different ways to play any major or minor chord.
These shapes also provide the structure around which you can learn to embellish chords and improvise using the scale tones that surround the triads. You can use these shapes to outline chord changes in rhythm or lead playing.
Dive in and see for yourself whether these are as useful to you as they are to me. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. In fact, I think that by learning these shapes thoroughly you’d start seeing the neck in a whole new way, easily transitioning between key areas of the neck.

It’s called Guitar Synergy, and if you practice the exercises diligently through the course, you will master triads and feel comfortable guiding yourself around the neck with them.
