This is the first video in a new series of “quick licks”, short lines created to help practice a specific concept.
In this first installment I demonstrate a line or lick based on the B flat dorian mode, using 16th note and triplet rhythms. This type of rhythmic pairing has a very cool sound and especially feels interesting when used at higher tempos.
I hope you enjoy, and look out for the next quick lick video coming soon.
