An Interactive and Personalized Lesson Experience
Make Better Progress With A Personal Guitar Coach!
Have you tried private lessons in the past and had a lukewarm experience? Maybe your teacher was an excellent player, but wasn’t able to effectively communicate the concepts of music in a way that was practical and understandable, but most importantly produced RESULTS.
My name is Trent, and I have been teaching music and playing professionally for 14 years. I began teaching while I attended music college, and over the years have taught students of all ages and skill levels. From beginners to professional guitarists, I have experience with all sorts of different students.
Each of us has a different learning style and skill set; a unique set of abilities and challenges, and thus requires a specifically tailored approach in a private lesson setting.
This realization inspired me to create a new way to interact with my students; a way to not only give guidance during a private lesson, but to maintain contact in between lessons. This consistent communication is why I have called this a direct mentorship, and not just a private lesson program.
I want to be directly involved in your journey, helping you to create momentum in a way that would be very challenging, if not impossible on your own. Sometimes you just need someone on your team to help!
Description
Not Your Typical Private Lessons
The mentorship program is an exciting new way that I’m offering one on one guidance to a limited number of students. This is for those who are interested in an interactive and personalized lesson experience, in order to accelerate growth and break through to new levels in their playing.
By creating a personalized practice plan, and having regular check ins and open communication with my mentorship students, I partner with students to push their playing to the next level, and then to the level after that (and repeat). Essentially you’d be recruiting me as your own personal guitar coach!
By building a relationship and getting to know your playing, we can focus on the topics that are most relevant to your progress. We’ll set up a system that helps you to get the most out of your available practice time, and to have a solid plan that creates a direct and visible path from where you are now to where you want to be.
The 45 minute lessons every other week are where we can address big questions and dive into new topics. Each lesson we will talk about the practice routine and try to make adjustments, so that we can get it working the best it can for you within your life and your schedule.
My goal is to help you get tangible results in the short term and long term, allowing you to do more with your playing while enjoying it more!
The Specifics
Direct Mentorship Program Includes
- Two 45 minute video lessons per month. Each lesson is recorded for you to reference anytime that is convenient. Lessons are uploaded to a shared google sheet.
- Personalized practice routine that we develop for you and is housed in the same google sheet that the lesson recordings are uploaded to.
- Personal page on site with personalized lesson materials including pdf materials, videos, song lists & ideas for further listening/study.
- Ongoing communication in between lessons. Open Q&A using asynchronous communication through video messaging app. Meaning: you can send me questions via a video message that I’ll reply to when I have a moment. The app catalogs the conversation so you can refer back to previous answers.
