Here is a quick tour of 10 different types of 7th chords. I demonstrate them using single string arpeggios, because I find that it is easier to understand the intervals that make up different chords and scales when you look at them on just one string. Each arpeggio is paired with a root position voicing that matches the arpeggio, so you can hear them in context with one another.
