Making consistent progress in guitar playing can be difficult. It gets discouraging at times, and progress can feel painfully slow. I get it! I’ve been there. But through the years that I’ve been playing, nothing has pushed my playing forward like consistent, well planned, and focused practice.
In this video I break down the important areas to focus on. Some you would expect, but some ideas I share might be something you haven’t thought of before.
We’ll look at what to practice in a broad sense, things to practice WHILE you practice to increase musicality, and how to structure a practice routine that you can develop into a habit. When you’ve got your practice routine locked in you can relax and trust the process!
I am currently accepting new students via zoom. If you are interested in taking private one on one lessons with me, please email me at trent@practicemakesbettermusic.com. I would love to help you figure out what to practice to maximize your playing skills over time.
As always just leave me a comment or shoot me an email if you have any questions. Thanks for watching!
